About this speaker

Mónica has completed several diploma courses in Evaluation and Rehabilitation in Cognitive Neuropsychology, Psychotherapy with children and adolescents, Psychodiagnosis, Early Attention and Disability. As well as various courses and workshops related to Neuropsychological Evaluation, Neurodevelopmental Disorders, Psychotherapy and Psychoanalytic Clinic in children and adolescents, Psychological First Aid, among others.

The foregoing has been reflected in her development as a psychotherapist and teacher in front of a group of children and adolescents with and without disabilities as well as in vulnerable population groups such as people with neurodevelopmental disorders, victims of violence and sexual abuse, people living on the street and people with suicidal ideation and attempt.

She has held positions as coordinator and head of psychology departments in educational institutions and non-profit associations and private initiative and in her free practice in a private practice, always committed to the mental health and emotional well-being of children, adolescents and their families in Mexico.

She currently works as head of the Department of Family Psychology in the area of Rehabilitation and Health Services in the Association In Favor of People with Cerebral Palsy, APAC I.A.P.
