About this speaker
Maureen Kizito became the Senior Child Protection Officer at PEAS Uganda in 2019. Before this she worked as a Curriculum Specialist, Principal and Educational Officer taking care of marginalised children in institutional care. She leads on the design and implementation of PEAS’ approach to safeguarding by supporting and training schools to empower students, building staff capacity and establishing robust systems that create safe learning spaces across the PEAS school network and PEAS partner schools.
